Our verdict
The best-looking budget route into countertop RO, with a glass carafe people love. Its paperwork is the weak point: a certification badge that never names its standard is a question to ask Bluevua, not a fact to rely on.
Specifications & certification
| Type | Countertop reverse osmosis with glass carafe |
| How it works | Five stages - PP sediment, coconut carbon block, RO membrane, post-carbon - then water lands in a 60 oz glass carafe fitted with a remineralization filter. No plastic storage tank touching your drinking water. |
| Certification status | Bluevua's page carries an 'NSF & WQA Certified' badge but does not name a specific NSF/ANSI standard in its product text. Until Bluevua publishes which standard, we grade it as unspecified - ask before buying if certification is your priority. |
| Filter life | PP/CTO/PCF 12 months - RO membrane 12-24 months |
| Replacement filters | PP $29.99 - CTO $29.99 - PCF $29.99 - RO $59.99 - 1-year set $89.97 |
| Running cost | About $120-150/yr including membrane amortization |
| Flow / pace | 100 GPD (manual); dispenses 0.5 / 1 / 1.7 litres |
| Size | 14.3 in L x 10.9 in W x 15.4 in H |
| Power & plumbing | Plug-in. No plumbing. |
| Warranty | 1-year warranty on registration |
What it claims to reduce
These are Bluevua's own published figures, graded by the certification status above - we do not run a lab, and we do not upgrade a brand's wording.
- Removes up to 99.99% of contaminants (Bluevua's headline wording)
- Typically reduces TDS by 90-95% (manual FAQ)
- Remineralization filter in the carafe
Strengths
- Glass carafe instead of a plastic tank
- Remineralization included
- Frequently the cheapest route into countertop RO at checkout pricing
Trade-offs
- Certification badge without a named standard
- Base model has no UV (that is the separate ROPOT-UV)
- Wastewater ratio is not stated on Bluevua's own pages
